2009

The Goulburn Sale Yards were established in the 1920s. Once said to be the fourth biggest sheep selling centre in NSW, they closed in 2017. Effluent pollution and the opening of the state-of-the-art South Eastern Livestock Exchange in Yass marked the end of this sale yard. Agents, stock buyers and sellers of the district moved their business to the new Yass facility.
